Project Templates

During the onboarding process you are presented with a number of options for node types, these are not available once you have completed the onboarding process.
While you can edit node types to match your needs it would be quick and easier to allow users to choose from the preset options available during onboarding
- Remove workspace node types and status and only apply per project
- Mini project setup when creating a new project
- Include some preset templates when creating a new project include all settings not just node status and type

Commenting to +1 and bump this suggestion! This is a critical feature. I've found how to change the workflow nodes within a project (wow, is it buried) but having a template feature for Projects to switch between GIST, OKRs, and custom options would be an absolute game changer.
I don't mind the workspace retaining a "default" workflow, however, but I really think it should be assumed for some decent portion of users that they're not likely to only need just one workflow model within a workspace.

My usecase is designing visual sitemaps for websites.
My node types would be - Pages, Templates, Sections, Tasks.
Most of the nodes will be common for each and every project, so a template that has a boilerplate project ready is necessary.

In addition to node types the project could include other meta tags configurations that support the project type

Nick Glavin: And the content of the note type. If that was included in the template as well. So you basically should fill out the blanks, when you create a new node of a specific type from a template :-)
